At lunchtime on Thursday, 16th April, we were delighted to welcome the University of Melbourne to MCM for a presentation to our Senior School students. Ranked #1 in Australia and consistently placed in the world’s top 20 universities, Melbourne offered students a fantastic insight into what studying at a leading global institution looks like.

The session explored the flexibility of Melbourne’s course structure, allowing students to explore a range of subjects before specialising in their chosen major. There was also clear and practical guidance on the application process, including IB entry requirements, which many students found particularly useful.

Beyond academics, the talk brought the university experience to life, with an in-depth look at student life, support services, and the opportunities available both inside and outside the classroom.
